The Sheducktress from Lynch Mob Calls… Sounds kind of seductive right?
Well, let’s be honest, you don’t want to be seduced into spending a fortune on a duck call. No worries, we get that, and that’s why Hunter’s Gear Guide has written the most in-depth review you’ll find about the Sheducktress from Lynch Mob Calls, and we made sure to include every little detail. Maybe you’re just looking for low prices? No worries, we got those to, you’ll find them below.
After testing alongside several other duck calls, we ranked the Sheducktress from Lynch Mob Duck Calls according to five factors. How it sounded, if it had volume, the size of its repertoire, whether or not it could withstand the elements, and whether or not it was easy to learn and use. Here’s what we found:
Call Quality (35%) – 8
The Sheducktress sounds good, and we were impressed to say the least.
It’s not as raspy as the Jase Robertson Pro Series call from Duck Commander, but when you’re doing softer, gentler quacks, it sounds spot on. We found the quacks and greeting calls to sound really nice, while feeder calls weren’t quite like what we could get from other calls, but still pretty good.
Volume (20%) – 10
We found the Sheducktress to be the loudest call that we tested. You can really reach out there, and hail calls are super loud. At lower volumes the call still sounds great, although it does require a little more air to use than the Jase Robertson Pro Series call for example.
Variety (20%) – 7
While the Sheducktress from Lynch Mob Duck Calls could put out some great quacks and welcome calls, it did struggle a little bit with feeder calls. It took quite a bit of air and was difficult to transition from this call into others.
Also, this call really struggled when it came to softer sounds. Although the soft quacks and welcome calls sounded great, they did require a lot of practice to find just the right amount of air so you weren’t belting out calls that could start an avalanche or just squawking through a pipe.
Durability (15%) – 7
The Sheducktress is a tough call. It’s made from acrylic and there’s no way your going to break it, even if Christmas dinner just got over and you accidentally sit on it in the blind.
However, we didn’t notice a few small things which kept this call from getting perfect marks. The call comes apart fairly easy, and we could see you losing half the call while out in the field one day. On top of that, the call is held together by a rubber gasket, which could become loose or break with time.
Learnability (10%) – 7
The Sheducktress from Lynch Mob Duck Calls isn’t necessarily difficult to learn, but it did take quite a bit more time than some of other calls we tested out. The quacks came after a little practice, and while the greeting call wasn’t hard to learn the feeder calls were. This call takes a little more pressure than others and learning to find that perfect medium took some time.
The Sheducktress didn’t come with any instructions, which doesn’t help. However, it’s not hard to find a calling video on the internet and start picking things up.
Overall Score For The Sheducktress From Lynch Mob Calls – 79
While the Sheducktress didn’t earn perfect marks, we were impressed with the call. It made amazing duck impressions at lower volumes, was super loud, and the call is plenty tough. We’d recommend the Sheducktress to anyone who’s had some experience calling and is looking for a loud call that can also coax in ducks while they’re closing in.
